Washington D.C. 2:34 AM
This day was getting more and more interesting
Isaac smiled as he read through the book in his hands, at the moment, he was in the largest Library in the world, the Library of Congress… and he was hanging from its ceiling. He had made his way to the top and hooked his toe claws around a support beam so that he could read.
Suddenly the cell phone on the table below him rang. Expectantly he looked “up” to the floor to see it, and with a swift motion he drew his claws in, effectively unhooking them, righted himself in the fall, and landed silently on the floor below him, careful not to hit the many unconscious bodies that scattered the library.
He threw the book he was reading onto the table, across that same table lay many other books with topics ranging from myths and legends, stories and tales, to archeology and lost cities such as El Dorado. That was what the book he had just been reading had been about… El Dorado.
Causally he picked up the phone and answered
“Hey Tech”
“Anything interesting?” Tech asked intrigued
“Actually…” Isaac paused looking at the pile of literature on the table, before picking up a book about Sawney Bean examining it for a couple of seconds and throwing it back onto the table with the others “Yeah, there is.”
Tech smiled
“Well I mean there have been quite a lot of dead ends and such, but there are a couple of actually very interesting leads for your theory,” Isaac said gleefully glancing at the computer he had been using to cross-reference information… and access governmental files. “It could hold water”
“That is great news Isaac” Tech congratulated typing away at his computer, “Finish up and as soon as you’re done grab anything relevant and head back”
Isaac smiled
“You know I could get back a lot faster if I had super-“
“I’ll send the jet,” Tech said cutting Isaac off
