Arkansas 10:36 AM: Max Owens
The two ended up at a best western after evading the cops, they picked two empty rooms, and “Slash” picked the locks. After that, both had passed out and slept for hours.
Nothing ruins sleep like waking up, and nothing ruins a day like reality. He couldn’t focus on anything, the room was spinning as the bad memories flooded into his brain, and he couldn’t keep them out.
“Why me?” Max whispered to himself, his voice cracking and breaking with emotion, tears were streaming down his face.
His grandmother
“Oh no…” he cried silently to himself
The last time he saw her was when those guys grabbed him, they knocked her on the back of the head, hard… and they dragged him away. He never got to say goodbye.
“No…” He whispered putting his head in his hands
And that wasn’t even the worst part… Because he still didn’t know whether that was the moment she died… or…
“No!”
He had killed everyone, he had blown up a hospital,
“Stop it!” he yelled, but the thoughts wouldn’t leave
He had killed everyone, Men…Women… Children… Those elderly and those full of life.
“Stop it!!”
His hands started to grip his head a little too tight
No one could’ve survived, he was a monster, after all these years, it turned out that he was no better than th-
“I SAID STOP IT!!!”
The room exploded in disarray! The T.V. cracked and sparked, the lamps burst, and walls dented in, the bed collapsed and fell apart, and the mirror shattered.
“Hu!” He exclaimed suddenly looking up with a red face to what he had done,
“No…Please no” He once more whispered, after seeing his carnage, desperately hoping that it wasn’t real, but it was.
Once more he collapsed into his hands, and sobbed, unaware that he was levitating a good five feet above the bed.
“Please no”
