PART 3: DR. BEAN

LOCATION: [REDACTED]

Carter woke up on cold, hard steel. He didn't know where he was but by the looks of it, it was meant to hold something extremely powerful.

As he stood he noticed the cell had four walls all made of steel, and lined with titanium steel. In the corner of the cell wall on the roof was a speaker. In another corner was a bed made of wood. There was a door on the south side of his cell it was made of entirely titanium steel. It didn't have a single knob or handle, it couldn't be opened from the inside.

He tried to remember how he got here but instead his mind was filled with the events of the Little Stone police station.

The thing inside him had killed again.

Who? Who did it kill? Remember Carter C'mon!    - He thought.     Johnson. It killed Johnson.

“Uuuuuuuughhhh” he moaned. What happened to Johnson was horrifying but not as horrifying as what the thing inside him felt as Johnson was killed. Happy. IT felt happy as it destroyed a man.

It was a disgusting feeling, knowing you DESTROYED someone, and enjoyed it.

“HELLO Carter!” A heavy yet friendly Scottish accent rang out of the speaker in the corner.

“Hello?” replied carter. “Who are you?”

“I am a doctor.” The Speaker calmly replied. “Dr. Bean is my name.”

“Why am I here?” Carter seemed awfully calmed by beans voice.

“Because you’re dangerous.” It seemed like a rude statement but when Bean said it, it sounded almost like a complement. “Do you remember what happened at the Little Stone police station?” Dr. Bean asked.

“Yes.” He answered as he shivered.

“Ahh. Well, that was 4 weeks ago.”

“WHAT?” Carter was shocked. “I've been asleep for a month?”

“We needed to ensure our safety.”

“We?” Carter questioned. “Who is we?”

“'We' are The Department of Defense.” Replied Bean.

“Am I in the pentagon?” Carter asked a little excitedly.

“No, sorry buddy.”

“Then where am I?”

“Afraid I can’t answer that buddy!” he replied happily. Then his happy demeanor changed to very cold and he said. “But know this... you'll never escape. So don't even try”

Carter felt a little chilly as those words were stated.

“Tomorrow well start your training.” The cheerfulness instantly returning to his voice. “Till then I suggest you stay put.”

“What training?” Carter asked with no response. “WHAT TRAINING?”

No reply...
