The militants were strewn through the room, and there was blood on everything

 

“Help Me”

 

Chase was frozen, he couldn’t move… he had failed.

 

From somewhere in the room, the dark thing laughed.

 

There was nothing to do now… Nothing but fight… So Chase’s fist tightened, rage started to flare up within him, and just at that moment, five more militants burst through the door behind him, every one of them carrying a big and dangerous looking gun, one aimed at Chase, and three at the kid.

 

And one of them drew his claws

 

“Hey Slash” Isaac mocked, the cold eyes of his black mask still managing to seem somehow amused.

 

Chase growled, and the world slowed

 

It wasn’t a big room, so not too much room for running, but that wouldn’t be too big of a problem.

 

Chase launched himself from the floor with as much force as he could afford straight toward Isaac, but Isaac managed to dodge just at the last second causing Chase to hit the wall claws first. Immediately he used the force of his pounce, brought his feet to the wall, and rebounded pushing off into a backflip landing on one of the other militants, his claws digging i- Woah!

 

Isaac wasted no time! Chase just barely dodged the swipe of his claws, feeling the wind as they passed his face. Instantly Isaac jumped toward Chase, spin kicking him straight in the chest causing Chase to fly to the other side of the room, barely missing the kid, who still levitated in the air, terrified.

 

Chase got up, cringing from the gashes that were left in his chest from Isaac’s blades

 

CRACK!!

 

One fired his gun, and a bolt of lightning just barely passed Chase’s head.

 

“AAGH!” The kid screamed as the lightning bolt passed him

 

But Chase was already in the air, rebounding off the ceiling and toward Isaac, who of course dodged, but that was fine because Chase had already taken off again.

 

BOOM!!!!

 

The room erupted as Chase rammed the three other militants into the wall,

 

Isaac immediately pounced, but Chase easily plucked him out of the air and slammed him into the wall, and they were about to continue fighting when

 

“AAAAAAGGGHHHHHH!!!!!” The kid screamed clutching his head in his hands, and suddenly, as he screamed, gravity went haywire

 

Everyone and everything besides the kid hit the far wall

 

“ARGH!” Chase yelled as the 450-pound hospital bed rammed his right arm, as he did his best to avoid the bodies that were splattering beside him.

 

The kid screamed harder, and everyone felt it, Chase didn’t know if he could take it.

 

“AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHH-“

 

CRACK!!!

 

The lightning bolt flew through the air, as the kid hit the wall unconscious, and everything fell to the floor. As soon as Chase's foot touched the floor, he dug his claws in and blasted to the side of the room that the kid had fallen, turning himself around to face his opponents as he used his hand claws to stop.

 

But that was a mistake, as Isaac had already aimed

 

CRACK!!!!

 

“RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!” Chase screamed through his mask as the electricity shot from the gun and straight into his heart bringing him to his knees, but it didn’t stop, IT DIDN’T STOP!

 

Through his own screaming, he heard laughter, LAUGHTER! Isaac was laughing

 

Chase felt his mind start to fry, it was screaming at him, he had to make it ST-

 

Suddenly all of the color drained from Isaac’s face, through his own pain Chase could hear the Kid go critical, he didn’t even know it was possible to be in so much pain.

 

Then the entire world lit up, there was an unimaginably loud blast, a Boom. Chase felt his body flying through the air. And everything went black.
