New York: 12:24 AM
“Oh my gosh!”
Mr. Wong stared, frozen and wide-eyed at his phone. It was a direct text from the boss (That NEVER happened) but that wasn’t what scared him. It was what the text said.
“Run, he’s coming.”
“Oh my gosh…” he repeated once more
He had to go. NOW!
Frantically Mr. Wong grabbed his go bag and ran toward the door.
Too late.
With extreme force, it broke through the window of the high rise apartment, the dark, vibrating figure, and before Mr. Wong could say, or do anything, it pinned him against the wall, with knives at his throat.
“Tell me everything, about what you do for Tech!!” It forcefully demanded, voice seeping with anger.
“No, I won’t, what he would do to me, would be a thousand times worse than anything you could.” Jerry whimpered “And besides, I've been briefed on you, I know you won’t kill me.”
--------------------------------------
Chase tightened his grip on Wong and pulled him closer,
He saw it, the same thing he saw in the eyes of the security guard, Fear. Under this mask, he smiled
--------------------------------------
Jerry looked into the mask of the thing that held him, every moment he grew more terrified, but just as he thought the worst was over, there was a sudden, and very loud BANG!! Like a sonic boom almost,
And then, his heart stopped, or at least he thinks it did, that’s what it felt like. He was falling.
“AAAAGHHHHHH!!” He tried to scream, but nothing came out.
He saw it, standing in the window as he fell, constantly getting farther away as he got closer to the street below, it simply watched him fall
Once more he tried to scream, but before he could…
“UUUGGHH!!” He grunted in pain, as he was forcefully pulled to a stop. It felt like his arm was about to be ripped off.
--------------------------------------
Chase easily lifted the dangling man up, and threw him onto the floor of their new change in venue.
Slowly he got up, hurt and obviously confused, so Chase gave him a moment to figure it out. Of course Chase knew what had happened, he’s the one who did it after all,
In an instant Chase had moved him from the wall and threw him out the broken window toward the neighboring building, and just as he was about to crash into it, Chase ran over to the new area and caught him by the arm. In total, he had dropped about two stories, something that Mr. Wong was starting to discover.
--------------------------------------
“Ohmygosh!” Mr. Wong said for the third time in thirty minutes, feeling his body with his good arm, to make sure it was all there. Shakily he felt his other arm, immediately feeling the pain of the dislocated shoulder, Then he felt a hand on that same shoulder.
“Your right, I won’t let you die," It said "But I’m interested in seeing how many more times we can do that”
Jerry felt his stomach form into a knot
“Tell me about the drones.”
The Drones. He didn’t know.
“Tell me about the Drones!” It demanded more forcibly.
“Ok!” Jerry blurted. What he was about to do was dangerous, but it was his best shot at not getting killed.
"Please, I was just one of the engineers; I didn’t know what I was building!”
Though Wong couldn’t see it, Chase’s eyes widened
“You’re lying!” It accused
“No I promise!!” Wong whimpered in a last ditch effort to save his life “Please, let don’t kill me”

--------------------------------------

In an instant Chase pinned Wong to the wall so hard it left a dent.
Eyes burning with anger Chase moved in so that his face was very close to Wong's. His next words were spoken with rage just barely being restrained.
“Where?”
