Dallas 8:13 PM

Max looked around the “Yoga studio” that was definitely not a yoga studio. It was more of a blank space, with a T.V. on the far left wall, and a very big couch on the opposite side, the kind that wrapped around. On said couch was a dude watching the game with a beer in his hand, if Max had to guess he’d say he had some Mexican in him.

“Dude” Michael (electricity guy) exclaimed getting his attention “Did you not hear the banging on the door?”

The man looked up, “Hey, no I just figured if it were any of you two you would just open the door by yourself…” Then he saw Max

“Who’s this?”

Max was now sort of annoyed at this guy “The one doing the banging” Max said obviously ticked off

“This is Max” Stephen (other guy standing beside electric guy) said taking a seat on the couch

Couch guy looked at Michael, and in turn, Michael nodded, which seemed to make the couch guy lighten up a lot

“Nice to meet you man,” He said walking up and shaking Max’s hand, “My names Mario, Mario Maldonado”

“Steven Daniels!” The other man yelled from the couch,

“And I’m Michael, but you already know that,” Michael said walking around to the front of Max and shaking his hand “So what can we do for you?”

“I need to get into the city” Max stated suddenly becoming more serious

“Oh,” Michael said “Well… Do you have a pass?”

Max nodded, set his backpack down, and reached inside

“Yeah but…” He said as he grabbed the desired object “It’s pretty old”

Michael took the Identification card into his hand, on it was a much younger version of the kid in front of him

“Yeah sorry” He confessed handing the card back to Max “They’ve really stepped up security there, and that pass is expired, you have to go through this whole series of tests now to get a new one”

“Well look, I’m not so worried about the pass. I need to know the location” Max pleaded “I’ll worry about the pass when I need to”

“You don’t know how to get there?” Michael questioned “Didn’t you live there? I mean that’s what your card says”

“No, I do… Kind of…” Max stuttered “I know the path to get there once I’m at the entrance, I just don’t know where the entrance is”

The room was silent, and everyone seemed to look to everyone else

“We might be able to help,” Mario said,

Slowly he walked over to a really small dresser, opened the top drawer, and shuffled through a bunch of paper until he found the one he was looking for.

“Here,” He said walking back over to Max and handed him a business card.

“This is blank,” Max said as he examined the card, but then it hit him “Oh! Thank you so much!”

“Be careful with that, its valuable information” Michael said seriously as Max put it into his pocket, right next to the device Chase had given him

“Believe me I kno-“ Max started, but he was cut off by something that made that pit in his stomach reappear.

“Heads up!”
