Chase Rocketed into his penthouse, immediately putting his backpack, which he had found in the castle, on the desk. Immediately he pulled out his laptop, hooked it up to the hardware that was built into the backpack, and started up his computer

“Come on!” He stressed as it started up, 

Finally!!

He plugged in his ripper code and started to make changes

He typed and typed as fast as he could, his fingers flying over the keys, so excited because he had finally figured it out!

On his run over here, it had suddenly just HIT him!!

He was viewing Tech as this god, impossible to beat so that in the end, Tech had already beaten him on the mental front, long before actually beating him, but he suddenly realized

“He’s only human!!” He shouted excitedly 

He’s not GOD! No matter how smart he may be, or how far ahead he plans, he’s still HUMAN! And humans make mistakes, we can’t help it! There is always going to be something, granted it may be small, that you can do to stop him, he’s going to make some mistake, or overlook something, simply because he’s human!!

And now that he realized that, and freed himself from that mental block he finally felt something that he hadn’t felt in a long time

Hope

Chase smiled, exhilarated, as soon as that realization clicked in, everything else started to click as well, and he suddenly knew how to beat him

And he could do it so that no one gets hurt! No more choosing the lesser evil, no more death, he could take him out! Permanently cripple him! And no one will even get hurt! He could finally truly be the hero

But he had to make sure that every detail was right, he couldn’t miss a line of code

Currently, he was modifying his Ripper Code, so that instead of ripping information out, he could force information in!!

He was creating a virus, an extremely powerful virus. And he was going to do it in under thirty minutes

But there was a slight problem

Shadow teleported in 

“And what’s that?”

“Well,” Chase said not taking his eyes off the computer “Tech’s mainframe of computers extends to multiple checkpoints or information zones around the world, but it still has a center”

“Ok, why is that a problem?” Shadow asked

“Because that’s where this code needs to be uploaded”

Shadow understood

“And you don’t know where it is”

“No I don’t” Chase acknowledged “That was one thing Tech never let me know”

“Well you guys lived in the Greenland Base for quite a while, shouldn’t it be there?” Shadow pried

“No, it’s too obvious,” Chase said “Tech would put it somewhere I wouldn’t think to look”

“Ok, then where’s the last place you would ever think to look?”

“That’s the thing he knows I’m too smart for that, and plus I’ve already checked there”

“Well Tech must’ve put it somewhere you wouldn’t go, can you think of anywhere like that? Somewhere that holds a bad memory maybe?”

Chase suddenly stopped typing, but only for a second

He knew exactly where the mainframe was, 

Of course it was there!

“I know that look, where is it?” Shadow asked

Chase growled, “The one place I promised myself I would never go back to”

He returned to typing as fast as he could, 

Guess I’ll have to go there now

But not before heading back to the Paradox City, 

He had to let Max know the plan
